>来歴：
「なつっこ」は、長野県果樹試験場で、桃の王様「川中島白桃」と福島県主力品種「あかつき」を交配した実生から選抜育成されました。1997年に品種登録申請がされ、2000年に品種登録されました。出願時の名称は「あじわい」でしたが、出願公表時には「麗峰」となり、品種登録は「なつっこ」とされました。酸味がほとんど感じられず、柿とりんごの中間のような硬い食感で、日持ちがするため人気があります。

<<Peach Variety : Natsukko>>
>Flavor Profile: No acidity, non-melting flesh, ultra high density, low fiber, low juice
>Peach Size: Approximately 400g to 500g per fruit
>Appearance: Deep red, almost black skin. White flesh, occasionally tinged with red.
>Origin: Natsukko was developed at the Nagano Prefectural Fruit Tree Experiment Station by crossbreeding Kawanakajima Hakuto—the “King of Peaches”—with Akatsuki, a major variety from Fukushima. It was filed for registration in 1997 and officially registered in 2000. Initially named Ajiwai, then Reiho, it was ultimately registered as Natsukko.
This peach has almost no acidity and a unique firm texture, reminiscent of a cross between a persimmon and an apple. Its excellent shelf life and distinctive crunch have made it a popular choice.
