>来歴：
長野県長野市川中島町の池田正元氏の農園で発見された桃で、1961年に「池田1号」として出荷が始まり、1977年に現在の「川中島白桃」と命名されました。偶然実生された桃で、食味と質の良さから生産量が増加し、現在では日本の桃の主力品種の一つとして知られています。

>Origin: Kawanakajima Hakuto was discovered at the orchard of Mr. Masamoto Ikeda in Kawanakajima Town, Nagano City. It was first shipped under the name "Ikeda No. 1" in 1961 and officially named Kawanakajima Hakuto in 1977. A chance seedling, this variety gained popularity for its excellent flavor and quality, and has since become one of Japan’s leading peach varieties.
